Boss bodies despawning

just did Zul’Farrak. we killed Hydromancer but then wiped due to pats and too many adds. the boss body despawned by the time we released and ran back. given that she drops 2 quest items this is just not on.

WHY DO BOSS BODIES THAT HAVE LOOT DESPAWN BEFORE YOU CAN LOOT???

Every corpse in game will despawn at some point. If a corpse has loot on it it will take longer to despawn than without loot. Higher quality loot further extends the despawn timer.

took us maybe 2 minutes to run back and 3 to get back to the boss.
