World of Warcraft is the best MMO out there IMHO.
There are always alternatives, but I’m not going to mention them because if you go to the off topic forum, a few players posted some ideas.

I’ve been having fun in ESO, but I enjoy single play RPGs and it feels more like that than wow does. The stories are great, game play is fun, and there’s a lot of content. I don’t think it will hold my interest for more than a few months, but it’s been a blast for the last ~6 weeks.
ESO is maybe your best bet.

Anthem is a risky one, but they have a demo coming Feb 1-3 open to everyone so you can try it out for free.
It’s basically like the division/destiny/warframe mashup except yu feel like iron man.
Resident evil 2 remake demo is out and the actual game is coming out in a few weeks.
Those are my two lock ins for the foreseeable future.

Well… Anthem already stated it’s purchases won’r have loot boxes, are all available in game and are 100% purely cosmetic.
If anyone can fend off EA’s money grubbing cash grab sales techniques it’s Anthem. I’m waiting on buying it but the Alpha was great and I really do think this game has a good chance to succeed.
I have also been playing Fallout 76 and for all its problems the game is really fun. The game runs smooth now with very little bugs. Big open world some fun PvP and a ton of collecting and crafting.

Sorry but they will just wait a while to put it all in. After sales die some. Will never touch EA and i would rather just play Destiny 2.

Well… seeing as destiny 2 is going mobile with that 100 million donation bungie got from netease…
and I guess F76 is ok with all their micro transactions up front… decreasing the damage you do and xp you gain then adding in pay to win boosts that give xp bonuses and damage bonuses… and unobtainable cosmetic items that cost more than the game itself right now? lmfao

Its fun for the money and have earned so much free currency i dont need to spend. EA is no fun with season passes and power gain for money. No p2w has been a total lie for the last decade in gaming.
