Is Diablo fun at all? I've never really played it before.

I mean, repetition is MMO's in a nutshell these days...
But stay away from Tera for other reasons.
Snakes and ladders. It's similar.
If you want something somewhat similar head over to FF14. That is if you can stomach their story and long travels. If not head over to ESO or GW2 both game are fun to play, but ESO has more fun story progression choices and builds to play around with. GW2 actually has the same to a certain extent, but drifts off somewhere else and they don't have the trinity concept.

It became and is still my go-to game when I feel like wasting time.
I have ten days left on my sub, and I've already started playing GW2...no sub, infinitely better graphics, better combat system, a lot more fun (imo).
Would be happy to come back to WOW if they fixed classes/leveling.

The original Diablo is a bit outdated. D2 is very much playable and, imho, the most engaging of the three Diablo releases.
D3 lost the atmosphere of the earlier games (threw it away, actually) and I never cared for it myself, however, it is fun until you have played through it for the 12395e10 time. The Witch Doctor is a hella fun class to play.
Swtor has a major patch coming in Dec. cant wait.

ESO has bad movement. In other words most games are WASD Or by mouse like Diablo, but ESO has WS for forwards and back and mouse for left/rigjt which I find clunky and awkward.

If you want another MMO only other decent ones are ESO and FFXIV.
I am bored of wow myself but can't seem to find any other MMO that doesn't have their own issues.
Rift for a free to play isn't bad but has those pay to win parts which is annoying.
SWOTR was fun at the start but for me got a little overwhelming with button bloat? Some people like having 20+ spells etc but not me.
GW2 is probably the best alternative I have found.
Tara, ESO any of those click to attack games just aren't for me. I also prefer my WASD type movement.
FFXIV is ok but I find having to click through reading all the quest is monotonous.
LOTRO, meh ok but not great.
Aion I did actually like it but seems to be a dead game now.
I had high hopes for Bless Online but that is a train wreck at the moment.
