Bored of tanking and healing

Posted this in the lock forum… but since rogue is a top choice, figured I’d post it here as well.

I’d like to play a DPS class. I primarily pug m+ and tanking and healing has gotten… stale. I’d like to switch it up and was thinking of a lock or rogue.

Thoughts between those two? I enjoy playing a caster, but in the past have found mages to be somewhat boring. I haven’t played a lock for a long time.

Are groups difficult to get into as a lock? Would you recommend it over a rogue?

Play what gravitates to you, us rogues have always been a bit more difficult and very attentive depending on what is going on in combat regardless of game mode.

  • I dunno anything about mages or warlocks but they seem to have fun doing what they do wit their respective tools.

  • Us rogues loot, shoot, burn down houses, deception, red rum time, and fish in between. A lot of us do this and only this.

Don’t let any bum guilt trip you into doing what you don’t want to do or some silly “tierlist” cultist propaganda. All classes do well, we all have our strengths and weaknesses.

You will like Rogue because spacing out CDs is similar to tanking. Difference is that you need to do that for offensive and defensive CDs as a Rogue.
