I have a guildie who has admitted to using an autoclicker with an agressive pet and an assist pet macro, who will go AFK for hours at time with this and just come back and loot what’s around him.
While it’s technically not botting, where do we draw the line? To me I think it’s too far and he needs to stop but he blatently does it and funds a number of guild based events. Should I report him, or reap the rewards?
It’s botting. Right click report for cheating.
An autoclicker is a bot. Its automating human input into the game.
I think you should stop pretending that you’re not the one doing it and yes, yes you will get caught and banned.
The corpses will despawn and the loot will be gone before they came back ‘hours later’
I chuckled at the part where you flat out say the person isn’t at the the screen while their character auto attacks mobs and managed to somehow consider this as maybe not botting.
Most of the corpses will despawn, but some will remain.
Autoclickers = botting.
Case closed. Ban hammer. Next!!
You can’t use software to autoclick.
Only drinking bird is allowed.
Is building a robot irl to play WoW for me botting?
Well, I’m picturing Homer Simpson’s home built robot in my head, so no, I think that would be ok.

I am an IRL robot and no issues here yet.
