Booted and no characters on Remulos server

All my characters gone. Hopefully just a world server down and I haven’t also lost the names I have saved,

I just got in after 6 hours in the Q.
All my toons are missing, and get an error when trying to create a new one.

Just tried to log in, all my characters from Remulos are gone. This is as of 29th August, 3:30pm AEST.

Yeah same here, 4hrs in que to end up on a black character selection screen on Arugul.

This happened last night as well. I deleted the ProgramData folders and it started working. Didn’t this time and since I’m not alone I’m guessing it’s server side. Didn’t take long to be fixed last night.

Happening here too. Someone mentioned deleting ProgramData. Is this ok to do? Has anyone had their characters come back?

Its happening to me as well, seems server side and it happened yesterday and the day before too, hopefully it gets fixed soon, been really enjoying the game and the connection issues are the only real bummer

Server’s seems to be having issues showing black screens and no characters on any realms, seems like something blizzard needs to fix on their end.

You don’t delete the whole ProgramData just the battle.net and Blizzard folders. It can fix some problems with the clients for Blizzard games. But it looks like this particular problem is on the server side so nothing we do locally on our PCs is likely to work - leave your ProgramData folder alone unless Blizzard tell you to touch it.

same, no toons on character screen very frustrating. still at least most the time it has been playable and for the most part servers are holding up for everyone.

At least the servers are showing up as offline now, it’ll probably restart in 10 mins or so
