Full disclosure, I’ve never played classic before. This is my first time trying it.
I’ve been doing some leveling and questing and all that good stuff and I keep seeing ads for boosting services through dungeons and things like that. My questions are basically:
Do you get more experience if you have more people in your group? I keep seeing people advertise spots in runs and not just the runs themselves, which tells me there’s 3 other people in there paying a few gold to be there. This must mean there’s better exp if you have more people at your level, or something?
Why FFA loot? If there’s 4 people who all paid to be there, doesn’t FFA give more people a chance to feel burned on loot? Since they’re all scrambling and fighting for boss drops, instead of rolling? This seems to be what most boosters advertise and it seems like a worse options to me, but I also have never really played so I guess I don’t know.
TY for insights in advance. Was considering paying 3G for a stockade run since no one is actually doing it normally, but was confused and don’t want to blow my gold before I know more.
I mostly agree, but at the same time I don’t fault them when LFG is so often taken over by spam politics, trolling and general shenanigans and virtually unusable for finding groups during parts of the day.
So I try to keep that in mind when I get a random whisper and stay polite to people who are just trying to play the game.
Most buyers don’t even loot, don’t worry about burning on loot. I actually leave the group if Mara boosters force you to loot. And ZG - Strat boosters don’t allow you to loot anyway.
I believe you get more exp if the average group level is lower. The booster themselves will obviously be high level, so filling the party with lower levels helps to bring down the average level.
Probably just so the booster doesn’t have to worry about resolving loot disputes. If you looted it, it’s yours, full stop.
