I have been forced to accept that I do not actually enjoy the leveling process. It feels tedious and does not spark joy for me. I am actually here for the pvp and the sooner I can hit cap, the better. Enter boosting. I know that it causes gold farmers to be more of a problem but I think this is a necessary evil if we want people who prefer raiding and pvp to the leveling experience to remain in the game. And let’s face it, we all benefit from a larger population.
will never understand why people like you choose a MMORPG so you can rush to the end and pvp. So many other games out there.

It’s the deathknight. I love the class fantasy and wow did it well. WotLK was basically 80% undeath-themed. I stopped playing during wrath back in the day so cata seems like a very different beast. But I still have my deathknight.
I have hardly ever raided. I would actually like everyone to have access to the same gear so we can pvp on an equal playing field. But I know people want their power fantasy.

That’s a good idea. I guess that is a thing in cata isn’t it? I tried it in wrath but it felt like it took too long. But I think they upped the xp rate now
That feels worse than questing, imo, till like 50’s and beyond.
Around 50 you can get pvp gear started to offset twinks
60 has a nice pvp set with bonuses. 70 had brutal. All had you not hate getting twinked as much to me.
I’ve not ran this on the now 31 to see if it’s even viable in cata. Or how bad twinks are. I know in tbcc and wrath, You just hoped you had more twinks your side. Life was hated less then lol.
Dunno if you are referring to actual life but alot of us are middle aged now and at high risk for depression. Alot of us are in the same boat that way. Hope you take care
I was talking levels lol. Up to level 60 pvp is ups and downs. Can be more down lol.
Now level 60 to 70 and 70 to 80 I did like a lot.
I have done my questing, and leveling for 20 years. It’s not my favourite part of the game and most of my time played was not spent leveling.
It was the whole 95% of the rest of the game. Most people who play this game back in the glory days couldn’t even get past level 40 before they got so bored or frustrated that they quit and didn’t come back - that’s a terrible model to build growth on.

I really enjoy being self sufficient, profession progression has lvl gates so I level.
I don’t feel forced to, it’s just something you do. I don’t enjoy when quests quite obviously are designed to slow you down, in pre cata this is pretty much normal. Ok the first time but not after um… something like 20 alts have been through the entire process at some point in their existence.

In the old days, my friend group couldn’t decide if they enjoyed starting new characters or having max level characters. No one was a big fan of the mid level grind. I will call this one a matter of opinion.

Don’t pussyfoot around the issue, you think people who buy boosts “shouldn’t” play the game and that’s the definition of gate keeping anyone with more than one brain cell can see that brother stop embarrassing yourself.
