There are so many boosting communities out there advertising in trade chat, it makes an unplayable environment. Blizzard fix this now.

Yeah the ones who went after the calendar are cancer. That mess needs to stop YESTERDAY.
Don’t mess with my freaking calendar without my consent. That’s just noxious garbage and they need to come down with an iron hammer on it.

The day someone OBJECTIVELY answers what is the problem for other players about boosting and boosting community, it will be the day it will be taken OBJECTIVELY serious.
“Blizzard fix this now”. I guess it is like “I am not rich, government, fix this now”.
So many problems take precedence to be “fixed now”.
You can just leave the trade services chat, they aren’t allowed to post in regular trade.
I’d like to think that when WoW dies for humans, there will be a bot-run server that will exist for eternity.
Boomkin bots still gather mobs to AoE down, loot, and repeat. Forever and ever…
To farm gold for customers that will never exist again.
The annoying spam. That’s the problem.
I don’t give a rodent’s furry backside if people want to buy and sell carries. I have no issue with any of it for other people. Whatever blows the hair back…blessings and via con dios.
Just leave me alone with it. I don’t want your spam preventing all other content in trade. I don’t want your spam making it a nightmare to scroll through LFG. And when you touch my calendar without my permission to peddle that mess, I draw the line.
Don’t be obnoxious. That’s the takeaway.

I dont see annoying spam from them because I dont use the public channels.

They’ve got bots mass-spamming notifications on people’s calendars, now. It actually creates mass invites like the ones we do in-guild for raid signup on the ingame calendar, which flashes a huge “?” on the calendar, forcing the player to go in there and engage with it. I resent the ever-loving snot out of that. Infuriating little gnats.
And dont you know how to ignore them ?

Thank you for mentioning I can get an addon to block the channel, but really I shouldn’t have to. If I don’t want to see a channel I should be able to simply uncheck the box.
I’m going to go dl that addon now though. Thank you, truly.
Unfortunately, they have started to send WTS services in normal trade chat again and have even posted on the game Calander occasionally when I actually look at it. Not as bad before the service channel was added, but they are definitely starting to post outside that channel again.
