So I had a demon hunter sitting on my alt list and decided to use one of my left over boosts on him.
However I can’t use my Dalaran hearthstone to get to legion Dalaran. Every time I click it I get a “You can’t do that right now” message. I think it might be because he never finished the intro quest line
Where do I go to get the quest so I can go to Dalaran?
Take the portal from SW/Org or get a mage port.
New Dalaran hearthstone is now a toy, if you have it in your toy box.
Or
Get the quest from the board in Orgrimmar to go to Broken Shore.
I found that getting a mage portal or taking the portal from SW/Org and then picking up and finishing the quest that rewards the toy seems to make it work, had a number of characters it wouldn’t work on and had to do that. I assume it’s similar for the Garrison one in needing to unlock it.
I had the same problem, I just used this Dalaran Hearthstone day before yesterday and now suddenly it won’t work and I’m trying to get to Skyhold and I can’t without it.
Can I assume you are using the toy and not the old hearthstone? It seems likely since you say you last used it a couple of days ago but just checking.
