I was told in other threads that’s where they’re supposed to be getting catchup gear and that this is why you should be able to farm enough honor for HWL in half a day

They are that good, I had some greens better. And I never did a dungeon.

And people said there were no negative aspects of boosts. So yeah, that was a lie. Especially when your faction has more players, longer queues, and obviously buys more boosts just because of the size of the faction itself. Most games are filled with communal geared mongos on one side now. GL grinding that honor cap folks. Who could have predicted this would have negative consequences? Oh let’s see, just about everyone who was opposed to boosts. Bobby needs his new yaht though so f the game I guess.

OP, not sure what the problem is. Both sides are about even with boosters and so far it has not changed the results,

Last night I won about 50% of the time on Alliance.

Queue times are so quick it’s easy for new alliance andy’s to get honor gear so there’s that problem on top of boosts. One team is quickly geared the other is sitting in 20min queues. Then proceed to wreck people with gear from instant queues and their andy’s are in a better position.

Yeah, I’m having a much better time in BGs now compared to several months ago.

And how is that any different than before the boosts. One team will always have faster queues and get honor quicker.

The Horde have always had longer queues in BGs, nothing is different now.

Because of how boosts introduce really undergeared players into the game at an alarming rate. It really shows in bgs now. If the average queue time for horde is the amount an av takes alliance are effectively getting double the honor/gear/marks. The pvp catch up mechanic not being limited by weekly resets to grab gear means insane increase of average ilvl for alliance on bonus honor weekends.

And how exactly did that change since before the Boosts? Horde has always had longer queue times, meaning they have ALWAYS been gaining honor at a slower rate.

I am still trying to see how you think the boosts changed this fact.

Before the boosts there was a weekly limitation on gear acquired through the honor system like I just stated. You needed rank to acquire gear which took weeks to months depending on which pieces you were aiming for whether they were blue or epic.

And even if the boost did not exist, today the Alliance would still be earning honor at a faster rate because they have shorter queues.

You are trying to associate the boost to a problem that does not even involve it.

Again earning honor on the other faction at a faster rate did not matter with the old pvp system. Are you new? Or just dense.
