Boosted character unlocking allied races

What do I need exactly?
I played between 2004-2014 on another account and wasn’t able to recover it, either way, I’m starting new and have a boost token. When I use it, what all do I have to do to unlock the Mag’har orcs? I heard boosted toons are able to start doing the Argus questline straight off the bat, what does that questline entail and how long should it take to complete it so I can start grinding rep for honorbound as horde.

All tips and suggestions are appreciated!

Edit: I’ve looked at the Argus guide, but I am truly confused. I’d appreciate a step by step game plan on how to unlock them from the prebuilt toon, please. It would make it that much easier for me. Thank you.

All you need to do for Mag’har orcs is do BFA WQs (world quests) and the War Campaign questline. Honestly HB rep is super easy. Every WQ on Kul Tiras will give you HB rep, many on Zandalar do as well, and also the invasion WQ help a lot. Just start BFA questing until WQ unlock.

You don’t need to do Argus or anything in Legion for Mag’har. If you want Nightborn elves, you can get exalted with Suramar, and Highmountain tauren needs Highmountain rep obviously. But Argus stuff only unlocks allied races for Alli and nothing for Horde.

Are you sure? I’ve seen someone start the game on a boosted toon and still had to start out at “The hand of fate.” on the Argus questline.

From what I understood, max boosted toons start out in a Seething Shore tutorial and once they finish, they can jump right into Battle of Undercity, which kicks off BFA. It doesn’t make sense for people to pay for a boost to get current and still be stuck behind a wall from last expansion. But maybe I am wrong? Not sure how to GET to BfA from a boosted toon- I just know those are the only ways to get Mag’har rep when you get there.

Here is what wowhead says. Good luck!

To unlock mag’har, you have to complete the war campaign up to 8.1 content, and get exalted with the Honorbound. Those are the only requirements. As Borgg said, the rep shouldn’t take long. I would also mention- he sure to do Darkshore and Arathi WQs if they’re up. You’ll know because portals will be up around the harbor in Zandalar.

Also if im not mistaken capping island expeditions for the week gives you a chunk of rep.
