So I started playing WoW in BFA and I want to get void elves. I don’t know how to get to Argus. Where do I pick up the questline? Or do I have to do the entire Broken isles questline?
I think you may need to open the Broken Shore (the level 110 zone) to get the quest. One of these guides could tell you for sure.

Update: Got to Argus after finding out you can talk to khadgar in violet hold without rep grinds.

Correct, you don’t need to grind anything, you just need to unlock Legion WQs by taking Uniting the Isles from Khadgar in the Violet Tower, then take the quest to start Broken Shore from Khadgar on Krasus’ Landing (can skip if offered here), then come back as soon as you are able and take Hand of Fate from Khadgar the Ever-Relocating back in Violet Tower again.

Where the hell is he know. He is not on the landing, he is not in the citadel… I have no clue where to find him to get this quest.
Just to ask the obvious question, are you in the correct Dalaran? As in the one in Broken Isles.
