Boost pricing

So, the pricing is as follows:

Outland Heroic Pack: 39.99

Outland Epic Pack 79.99

The only difference between the two is

  1. 1 Months game time
  2. Boost to 58

So, you take 79 for the Epic pack subtract the Heroic Pack you get $40.00.

You subtract monthly fee 14.99 you get 25.01 dollars.

How is the Boost alone $60.00? Using their own math it should be $25.00

Maths not mathin.

It’s called bundling, mate. Many companies bundle several services together at a reduced rate to make an offer more attractive.

Wait until you hear how having just internet service from your cable provider is more expensive than if you bought it with TV service.

they just greedy af. They do not care.

As much as I hate the $60 price point, I don’t enjoy the leveling grind that I’ve seen dozens of times. I want to play the new content. I’d rather spend the money and save hours I would have leveling.

the boost price is to get people to buy the $80 epic pack. For only $5 more, they give you mounts and pets, which basically costs them nothing lol.

This exactly - I’d rather spend the money and save hours I would have leveling. - If your finances don’t make this available for you then I’m very sorry to hear that but for me and for many others my time is worth way more than $60. Happy to not have to level 4 different toons I want to play and as has been said many times If you have already been through the leveling experience numerous times this is a great convenience.

That’s not how math works.

Well, ultimately what will end up happening is in 3 months they will discount it to 19.99

Why did my car insurance go up 100 dollars a month when I swapped my home away?!?!?!?

because it’s been $60 since it was added back at the end of retail MoP 12 years ago

TBF the boost only was 40 last TBC. it was the exception though

it was also a 1 time purchase per account to appease the nochange crowd at the time

and you get all this for that in retail….

  • Starting level for Midnight content (level 80)

  • Battle-ready item level 645 gear

  • Four 30-slot bags and one 32-slot reagent bag

We get 2 levels short of cap, level 40 greens, no rep, crap bags, and no currency

Yes I know. I’m just saying that its not hard to fathom the tbc boost being 40 based on precedent.

And? It takes like 20 hours to level to cap in retail, whereas it takes over 100 in classic even with the xp nerf.

Saving you at least 3 days played. Time is money friend.

lol it doesn’t take no 100 hours to level to 60 lol

Welcome to capitalism and marketing?

says the person who supposedly capped in 3 days and mage boosted the entire way.
