Boost or Level?

I am not prepared.

I suffered from indecisiveness in both faction and class and now find myself with the character I intend to main in TBC (an Alliance Paladin) sitting at level 20. I can spend some time in June trying to level up, but not tons of time. Then, I’m traveling for vacation for two weeks. So, I won’t be able to really dive in to TBC until mid-July.

I’m wondering if I should boost the level 20 to be able to begin the journey in Outland at launch. Or, if I should be patient and level as much as I can now and then hit Outland hard when I hope to have more time to play in July.

Part of me would love to participate in the early days of Outland. But, I’m afraid I might not feel as connected to the character long term if I boost it to be able to do that.

Also, will I be significantly “behind” if I am not level 70 until, say, late July?

Thanks!
