Boost not worth it

It is really quite ugly.

Good thing no one is forced to boost!

RAF was TBC.

Some, yeah, but I would bet that this will end up being a relatively small percentage of the demographic.

I predict that the largest number of boosts purchases will be from current players who want an easy 3rd or 4th or 5th or 6th alt for a mooncloth/primal might cooldown or whatever.

The second largest group will be retail tourists with their dad’s credit card, and the majority of those will probably never make it to 70 and/or through the attunements, because that would require effort.

In the meantime, the second group is going to make launch week even more crowded, because there will be a bunch of awful level 58’s running around Hellfire complaining about how much this game sucks.

Sure, but if you played the class before, you can easily set it up, take it to Outland and regear it.

Not a big deal if you’ve done it before. The only concern is when it’s something you’ve NEVER played before. THEN you might have issues.

Stuff like this is why I think the classic community are some of the most toxic individuals out there and it makes me laugh when I see that classic has such a good community. I skipped vanilla because I disliked it. I now want to play TBC because I really like TBC. I didn’t buy a boost but if classic XP/leveling wasn’t retuned and nerfed in TBC and a boost wasn’t offered I likely wouldn’t have it in me to play. As long as this is a once per account thing I think it’s an overall benefit to the game and bolsters its player base and I leveled in TBC back in the day. I’m not lazy, i just don’t want to play through classic.

Sure you’re not talking about the community?

Boosts, even in retail when given with expansions, never really come with “great” gear. That is entirely not the point.

sshhh Don’t give them ideas or ruin future plans lol

Good thing we don’t listen to the " no change " group because we be still riding horse and using candles for lights at night :scream:. Bring up char. in classic is like the saying " seen the movie read the book bought the tee shirt "

lol and bought the hat, pants, and shoes with the matching socks to. Because blizzard added it and I had to have it for no real reason

The boost is very much worth it, for those rushing to max level.

I’m at 15 hours played and level 22.
That means I’ll spend 70-100 hours to 60.

40$ to save 70-100 hours is good deal.

like 1 hour in outland and you will have tier 2 equivalent greens

I could say the same about you, given your gatekeeping attitude and general obnoxiousness.

Get that elitist crap outta classic, imo.

Agree, the value is in the hours of leveling saved, especially for a character class I’d normally not play (rogue). Just the thought of leveling lock picking is work the $40 and more for me.

No need to wait, can jump right into Strat and Scholo and get geared in advance. Already hit 60, with all new spells and nearly every piece of boosted gear replaced.

Why do people bring up gold buying constantly when trying to argue against boosts, it’s one of the most brain-dead counterexamples you can bring up.

Literally, it’s against ToS do to it. The WoW dev team is poor at enforcing their rules, and it subsequently ran rampant, but that doesn’t mean the community condoned gold buying lmfao.

You know… except for the first time TBC happened… without a boost… and people did exactly what you say they wouldn’t.

exacly. while playing retail. after a few months of early classic. a lot of people talked about bcc. when it comes out they will play it. before ever knowing there was gonna be a boost. so people was gonna play no matter

Right. They don’t need what was explicitly stated would be included. Had you bought a Mercedes that turned out to be a Skoda I am sure you wouldn’t be taking it lightly. However since it doesn’t impact you you blow the issue off.

Explicitly stated: level 58 with dungeon blues and 14 slot bags.
Received: level 58 in greens with 12 slot bags.
