Boost more than once

I just wanted to say that I would totally support paid boosting to lvl 60-65. I don’t think boosting all the way to the current cap is good for the game though. I’d probably buy 3-5 more boosts if they would let us… I personally like playing more than one character, but I hate the low-level grind when there is no one in the low-level zones anymore…

I wish I could have a second one just to get a tank up there. Guild was really hurting for tanks and I started working more on my level 31 druid, but that sucker ain’t gonna get to 60 when everyone still needs him, lol.

But that’s the only reason I want one, is to help the guild out. Otherwise, I love leveling in Classic. It just stinks to not have the option to help them out with the new content. I’d pay for that again, sure. I technically could by setting up another sub, but why would I want to do that just to maintain a second boosted character?

Could someone use a second account to get another boost, then transfer the boosted character from the second account to the main account?

Lots of people in every zone on my server. Even still a lot of people doing vanilla leveling on my server. Sounds like a your server problem.

I boosted a pally, will be solo farming dungeons/selling boost runs for gold, and I will have transmute alchemy and something else as professions, for passive gold income on days i’m too busy to farm/boost. I have a second account solely for summoning people to dungeons, leveled up a priest to 17 so I can login and use the summoning stone, since dungeons like SFK are a long ways from stormwind and it will speed up gold making, customers won’t want to walk all the way there.

I’ll probably buy a boost on that account tbh, and use the burner boost character for daily cooldown gold making as well. Still trying to think of what I should boost, and what I should use it for to augment my passive income in the game. Maybe a mage, that way whenever people are done with the dungeon boosts I can offer them a port back to the city? Idk.

The reason for all of this planning? I like to twink low level characters for fun and PvP with them, and that gear and the enchants cost a lot. Plus I could use said gold to help gear a real main account, like buy the best items off the auction house or bid on raid items, since I work and am busy and don’t have time or the type of job where I can be part of a raiding guild and fill an important slot and make it to events the same time every week.

I support multiple boosts, leveling is tedious and we have all done it many times over the years, I know how to play all classes, I don’t need to learn a new class, the games like 15 years old, and the game really starts at max level.

No, blizz doesn’t allow account to account transfer on the classic servers iirc

Hey look blizzards manipulating you guys into considering having a second account and subscription in order to acquire an additional $20 boost instead of removing boosting and making the 1-60 still relevant.

You guys are why retail got so bad. At what point does playing video games = purchasing micro transactions to progress forward in the game. When did video games = time spent entertaining yourself, stop being a thing?

You guys have no interest in playing the game you just want to be max level and raid log. Spineless.

Yeah, I’m sure you’re not alone on that. :joy:

Just remember my friend told me when I started Classic and TBCC
“Its all about the journey”
Someone was full of Tauren piles.

At some point I wanted to kill the undead in tarren mills on my be.

Dude…just give all the quests. Dead farmers, peasants, miners, smiths, council members…

All at once. I no longer hate the humans. I hate you. I mean who wrote that crap out. Let’s wage war on hillsblad 1 quest at a time. Hate the humans? Then kill them all. Right now…why beat around the bush.

What about boost less than once? As in no paid skips at all.

They want to give you a reason to walk back and forth in the game world with the intent being you’d interact with others more and be part of fulfilling a living breathing world.

If your logic was applied, we’d complete a zones entirety of quests very fast and have no reason to spend more time in that zone.

MMORPGs are more than max level raiding.

Its a time sink. See I’d look at fel woods as good quest design. Work up the road. Now go more up the road. its didn’t send you to kill 1 type of satyr. then another…then another. 1 quest, kill am ell. Come back. Now go up the road some more and hit some elementals.

Hillsblad is crap we need them here longer. lets break it up so on walks all the foot soldiers respawn. they will kill the same soldiers every run to get to actual targets. Time will be burned.

Why boost appeals to some. I did tbc leveling in retail. I saw It ditched some of this junk. I need some mag har beads since mad and want vengeance. 1 trip…wipe that village out till you have 10 beads. Done. Taught those orcs a lesson 1 time. damn good one too. I killed more than Yrel did in BFA to get them lol.

Boost gets some to the questing better designed as they see it. Classic 1 to 60 ain’t to everyone’s taste. Boost is the caveat blizzards had to give here. Wise move imo really.

I 100% disagree with everything you said.

As someone said, you can’t transfer, but you can create a new sub-account (wow 1, wow 2, etc…), subscribe and pay for another 58 boost.

There’s no limit on how many characters you can boost on your blizzard account, it’s only limited to wow accounts. And since the game is free anyway, you just pay for a boost and then a sub.

So, there’s nothing stopping people from having multiple boosts other than the ability to afford multiple subscriptions.

We space goats have taken Azeroth while everyone gone. One boost is good. You must chose wisely. Baa

I support our new overlords…as long as they bring the waggle. less fridges, more waggle and the world is yours.

Just wait a month or two. They will cash in on more boosts and DE/BE boosts before long.

So I dove in and bought the Deluxe TBC Classic package for $70, sadly, I really regret deciding to “follow the trend” of burned-out Retail players going back and actually PAYING to re-play old content that we already played back in Two-Thousand-freaking SEVEN. I boosted a Drood. The “boosted” gear is so terrible that questing is slow, deadly, and more tedious than it needs to be. Grouping? Still ded. Solo? Forget it… and it should NOT be like that. That is NOT how it was in Vanilla or BC. I considered spending another $40 to boost another toon just to get out of the inoperable gear mix (e.g. warrior) But, they only allow you to buy ONE boost per account, and I’m not paying another sub just to play a bit of nostalgia while I’m burned out waiting for 9.1 to drop. Gotta hand it to you, Blizzard. If you were looking for ways to alienate Veteran players, congratulations. You found them. All you had to do was make the Boosted toon experience survivable in the Hellfire Peninsula. Is that too much to ask for??? Make my $70 worth something tangible. I should not be oom after casting 3 spells in my starter gear and then dead from an NPC that’s just hitting me. Is this SERIOUSLY “working as intended?” I went to bed angry and I woke up angry because how your boost worked out LITERALLY feels like theft, and I hate you for it.

Why? Do you think there is a big need for DPS warriors?

Stop making bad choice after bad choice, and start making good choices.

Own your calling. Druids are great. You might have some gear that isn’t the best, but you’re leveling

Keep leveling. Replace your starter gear. Enjoy the game.

Burn a $100 bill. You are literally paying to fast-forward gameplay in a game you are paying to play… Do you think it’s different?

Again… just stop making bad choices. Or stop trying to find value in bad choices you’ve made, and just move on…
