I find it interesting that a character boost only offers Raid Gear, Not everyone raids.
They should have a option to get PvP gear.
It’s not raid gear. It’s basic stat gear that can be used in any type of content.

Boosted characters are offered with max level starter gear to help get the player ready for whether it is raiding, mythic+ dungeons, or PVP. It is not tied to anything.

You can’t even get into heroic dungeons with it.
I thought the enhanced boost said “Raid ready” and that was season 3, so its not actually raid gear, but i believe it was the enough of an ilvl boost to let you into LFR. If I remember correctly it puts you at 424? its been awhile since i looked at it.
Anything is PVP gear if you kill someone in it right?? ( I know there is a difference, im just making a joke)

They actually removed raid ready from the description because it’s still 424 gear.
I just looked at it in the store, i see where they removed it. Its been so long since ive read the text. I thought if that was still there thats why OP thought they were getting “raid gear”
