Boost = 424 gear = auto LFR = LFR nightmare

Have you learned nothing from the past? Boosts getting right into LFR means LFR will have all these players on classes/specs they have no idea how to play making LFR an even worse nightmare then it normally is.

Also putting gear as high as 450ilvl into LFR when Heroic raiders who just did Heroic/lower M+ have 437 gear and will feel pressured to do LFR is also a bad idea.

I want nothing to do with LFR, and the fact it will have all these players in there with no clue how to play their class/spec makes me want even less to do with it.

Their own fault. We can just jump into M+ and skip LFR entirely.
If you feel it’s not worth the hassle, don’t do it!
It’s a minimum chance at 3 pieces of low level gear, why would you do it?
Raid set?

BTW, you can get 450+ from world events, right now.
I won’t skip LFR because I enjoy the LFR mayhem.

Yes. And also an upgrade is an upgrade. I do whatever can give me upgrades. Even if I hate it. Season 1 I didn’t feel like I had to do LFR, even season 2 I didn’t really. But this seems like a big jump

Personal problem.

Maybe thinking isn’t your strong suit.

I feel sorry for you if that’s how you play, but “no pain, no gain”.
I’d rather take longer and enjoy getting the gear, after all, this gear grind will be up until the next expansion, unless Blizzard pulls a “Ruby Sanctum” out of th… nowhere.

I believe in going hard for a month. Gear quick. Get AOTC + KSM then go on a break for months and months

LFR is casual mode, for players that just want to jump in a give it a go, bypassing the gatekeepers.

It is usually pretty wild.

Then why would you not start with the highest key and raid difficulty available to you? I’m not even looking at LFR next season until I go in with mog farming alts.

Ah I see, then yes, you gotta suffer through the “bad” ways of gearing.
Since I play every class, I can’t even “finish” gearing without “no-lifing” to dedicate myself solely to the game, I always have something to do.

If you are into speed gearing, you should be grinding M+ and avoiding raiding entirely.

You can skip LFR and get 450 gear from the Open World -

Or just wait 4 days until you can go into higher level raids and run Mythic+.

and we care about the lfr experience right now because?

Its not like you can literally buy boe greens that have higher ilevel than lfr right now. nope

424 can’t do new LFR.
Even if they could, LFR is for people who don’t know what they’re doing. They can get carried by people like me, it’s no problem really.

The problem is when you people join m+ looking for that same carry, depleting my key, wasting my limited free time, costing me consumables. That’s actually worth complaining about.

Why do you care then?

I see it this way, people do LFR either 1. to get a somewhat of a decent grasp of the raid and their surroundings and 2. they’re doing it to learn their class and get gear. I see nothing wrong with new players in LFR, it gives them an opportunity to learn.

The real reason for hardcore raiders to do LFR is that the first wing drops Tier, which will be at a premium for a couple weeks until everyone has their 4p.

These raiders will offset the bad DPS players. It doesn’t help much against bad tanks, though.
