Anyone have a preference? I feel like shaman isnt quite as good as balance for pvp i guess due to the ramp up. The only complaint i have for druid is the majority of their mogs arent so great.
Druid is the best class, and the worst Druid spec by a large margin, is boomchicken.
So, I guess. I Prefer Elemental Shaman.

Plus feral is like a dollar tree rogue.
Oh I just don’t like it, the damAge seems ok.
It just looks ridiculous. Even sparkle form is tiresome after a while.

Play what you enjoy and don’t chase FOTM, you will enjoy your time more.

Out of convenience, druid is the best choice… like … all the time.
But at least currently, ele shaman is doing better.
That “currently” keeps changing every patch so, it’s up to you.
I tried shaman but one of the talents turns off at random Master of the Elements and you have to log in and out for it to start working again.
Boomkins seem to always be a favorite in raids no matter the tier and do decent damage, ele just seems to be a FOTM at the moment so it probably wont last for long.

I second this, wholeheartedly.
That said, I’ve played both Elemental and Balance this expac, and I prefer Balance. It just fits together better under my fingers. I can’t really explain it better than that, and I’m 100% certain there are players who feel the complete opposite is true for them.
And that’s why we have choices 
Shaman could probably control a fight easier than a boomy could.
What are we talking here, RBGs? Arenas? 1v1s?
I’d say Ele Shaman excels in a lot of areas, aside from 2s, since they can easily be trained if you just zerg them and only have one person to support you. Druids are more slippery in those situations.
Mostly rgbs and I guess 1v1 applies.

i say boomkin i think it does more or the same dps as ele.
It actually does break a lot. It’s a known issue, but you don’t need to log to fix it, just re-select it.
I don’t know the current rbg meta, but Ele has better 1v1 potential.

I may be partial as I have played boomkin forever but I’ve tried ele many times. I find it clunkier and I miss the utility I have with my boomkin.
Well im losing a lot of dps then…Never noticed it, will make a weakaura to see.
Sure it does, there’s people in the shaman forums talking about it to. MOTE procs like 1/4 of the time after lava burst if that. The talent says it supposed to proc each lava burst.

Thanks, will look in to it. My damage has been fine, so I never really noticed the problem, hence my surprise.
I think thats the bigger let down for me. That blizz would allow something broken like this to go on. Makes me doubt how much they care about shamans lol.
