Energy Spiders eat the manifestations of the Cosmic Power of Light which is not to be mistaken for the Light Side of the Force.
Basically the Energy Spiders eat Photon/Light Elementals in the Kessel Mines.
The Light Elementals are noted by powerful Force Users to always have hostile intent(not to mention be Voids in the Force).
The Light Side of the Force is Good but the Cosmic Power known as the Light is Evil.
The Cosmic Powers in Star Wars are: Light, Life and Force.
I of course would like Light Elementals that don’t look like Glowing Spheres but like WoW Light Elementals and ravaging the northern hemisphere of the Planet Kessel to resemble the Ember Ward driving people insane under the Light’s ravages while Light Elementals incinerate people!
The Show upon showing Kessel should describe the Cosmic Power of Light as being separate from the Force, void of the Force and Evil like the Dark Side of the Force. The Show should also introduce the Cosmic Power of Shadow(looking like Dark Purple Clouds of Energy) which should be Good just like the Light Side of the Force.
On the other Cosmic Power distinct from the Force: Life is sucked out of people during the Ghost of the Jedi Novel of the Galaxy of Terror Novel Series.
Sucking the Living Force out of someone turns them to Ash with a small exception of a small number of beings who can handle lacking Living Force while sucking out just Life sends them into Stasis.
The fact that rigging a Book to steal Life Energy from people is possible should be considered scary enough for a Star Wars Horror TV Show!
Having the Witch who cursed Han Solo in the Tales From Darth Vader’s Castle come back from her Flower Bud and having to face both her use of the Cosmic Power of Life and a Necromancer’s use of the Cosmic Power of Death at the same time would be interesting to see.
Bonus points if the Necromancer turns out to be a Good Guy in contrast to the Briar Witch who investigated a Mad Scientist’s laboratory and discovered Death Energy constantly pumping out of the Scientist’s victims who had their Life Energies stolen by an Essence Stealer hooked up to Books.
The Necromancer could become a Lich reminiscent of Margrave Stradama and use a Torrent of Teal Green Death Energies and Reanimated Corpses to stop the Scientist and reverse the Essence Stealer to return the stolen Life Energies to their owners.
The Horror Show would introduce the notion that there are more Cosmic Powers than the Force into mainstream thought and make the Bad & Neutral Cosmic Powers(Light and Life) a visible threat to the Star Wars Franchise. Especially the Light.
