Bonds of Fel should be a passive that upgrades cataclysm

Keeping bonds of fel the way it is makes no sense after bringing cataclysm back. It’s like having 2 of the same ability and you barely find any openings to cast bonds of fel anymore as cataclysm takes priority. Just make it passively upgrade cataclysm to also apply bonds of fel effect?

Originally it also use to have a movement slowing effect applied to those who left the circle. I think they should atleast bring it back.

I agree bonds of fel as it stands really doesn’t do enough damage to be a go to talent. And without the old slowing effect, the value just isn’t there.

I am a new Warlock main, but it doesn’t even seem to deal anywhere near enough damage, why would I ever waste a PvP slot on this ability?

When they first added it, it was pretty strong. Then towards the end of Dragonflight everyone stopped using it because it wasn’t as strong anymore. Now… not only is it not strong but it also has to compete with cataclysm, making it double useless.

Currently its only real use is that it’s a way for demo and aff locks to access a fire spell (possibly useful for casting while shadow locked or to bait enemy interrupts if they are not smart.)

Ok yeah, so it was originally kinda like a combination of Ring of Fire and Ring of Frost, but unlike those abilities, absolute garbage. Seems to be the case for alot of PvP talents for classes.
