He was a reasonably powerful paladin before getting all lichy. I’m sure wearing the Helm of Domination for (however many years it’s been) left him with something, at least.
He wasn’t a pushover before he put on the crown. He may no longer be the Lich King, but he’s still Bolvar Fordragon.

That made no sense at all. Bolvar had no involvement with the Vulpera, what-so-ever, save for maybe raising them as Death Knights, which admittedly is a pretty abominable thing to do.

There’s datamined dialogue between him and Darion for 8.3. I assume the Ebon Blade just pledges to help him of their own free will.
Bolvar is a Mary Sue in the making he can do anything so long as Bliz wills it.
Wouldn’t doubt Shadow lands comes out and Bolvar be like: "I totally let her win cause yea didn’t want to hurt her feelings, Now it is up to you champion to lay the smack down on her.
Thats what I mean. The monster for doing this to my foxy frends.
