So I’ve never done trash farms in raids for BoE so I’m just curious: if I leave a group that I was farming in, will I be able to join someone else’s BoE farm?
If it’s not Mythic, then yes.
If it’s Mythic, only if they haven’t killed any bosses.

Correct, mythic raids are on an actual unique lockout. Problem with Nathria is there are only 4 trash mobs before the first boss. So, if you want any real farm, you’ll have to find a group that already has Shriekwing dead. Which would also require you to lock yourself to the raid.
Unless there’s some loophole I don’t know about it. Heroic you can farm all day with any group.
SoD (coming this next week) has more trash pre-first boss. So, you could join a mythic that has zero bosses dead, kill the trash, and then join another later.

Only in Mythic, yes. You can still do it in LFR, Normal, Heroic.
