Body sliders. PLZ blizz

Or is it gonna cost a raid tier meme needed?

I would bump a topic similar - I’m sure there have been some, but I don’t wanna get in trouble bc of weird rules.

Alex and Sylvanas look so much better than blood elves in game. They’re a bit thiccer and more womanly, imo.

Ppl should have the option of expression for any race and the body type they prefer.

You know 98% of people just gonna crank that slider to the max on the bust and butt.

It would actually cost more than a raid tier, memes aside

The games models and how things work weren’t created with the slider mechanics, you would basically have to rework how the game handles every piece of gear and character model in order to get sliders to work

Which means you would be modifying the base and ancient code at times, and anyone who’s ever programmed knows how dangerous to touch old code cuz sometimes that stuff needs to be looked at wrong and now it’s not working

*Small indie company.

There are already toys for body height at least and that works perfectly fine with gear.

Reminds me of the nightmare fuel people are making with Street Fighter 6’s character creator.

Straight up Cronenberg stuff

The toys that just change the size of your character entirely?

Yea that’s a bit different that customizing body part sizes with sliders

Heck yeah! This toon doesn’t skip leg and chest days!

a modern day character creation tool would have been a billion times better than the “body 1/body2” easy mode “fix” they slapped onto the still 2004 era character creation page. But you have to consider which would take more work. And what would happen with every character created prior?

I’ll be pc and say if you love how current be/ve look, sweet. I want my own look of what I think is pretty, as I think many would.

Im dying to play a female KT druid, but as a mog farmer they just dont look good in any thing.
the female panda body type is perfect for heavier set, while still being of a shape that looks good in mog sets. I havent found a single thing that doesnt look good on lady pandas so far.
I cant find anything that DOES look good on KT (or male panda for that matter).
A slider or anything that allows the body shape to be better so my mog hunting isnt for nothing.

Allied races for example (with the exception of Vulpera as the only new race) should have been customization options. The whole idea was so laughable in a supposedly “modern” game.
Yeah well… big humans have to be a separate race, you know!
Having golden hooves makes you a different race, too!
Oh no, no, no, no! Having brown skin makes you a different race! In case of orcs.
Etc.

I mean… come on xD

Customizations in this game are a joke.

It’s crazy to me how we cannot express ourselves after so many years. One of the most meaningful “things” we have in this game and irl, imo.

That’s why you have test clients where you mess around, and backups.

Basically what the majority of people do in FFXIV.

Still, there is more player customization in that game than WoW (in terms of character height, and female bust). There really is no basic “size” slider though. For example, male humans in WoW are built like pro wrestlers. You wouldn’t be able to shrink them down to a more “average” size in FFXIV, other than their height.

They would just be like mini-pro wrestlers if you shrunk them, lol

I need a four-foot-tall mini orc in my life now.

At the very least can we get the Dracthyr treatment and be able to choose to be bulked up or down and have armor fitted to the new presets? Might as well kill two birds with one stone, seeing as most armor has clipping issues anyways.

I just want to be able to make human females skinnier and night elves shorter.
