It won’t change the current state which is bad, most hoped him going away would mean the game would improve.
So I guess him not leaving just means blizzard never learns.
During the lawsuit blizz promised change m, they said Bobby would be leaving and there was going to be a co lead with a women of color.
Instead we got Bobby staying and another white male in lead. So I’d say this whole fiasco was for nothing. Nothing changed because of the lawsuit.

The merger doesn’t go through until 2023.
After that, it’s up in the air.

They probably will keep Ion and the rest too. I don’t think Microsoft cares if’s a good game or not, as long as it makes money.

Bobby Kotick will be 60 years old and fabulously wealthy whenever the Microsoft deal finalizes. My guess is, whenever his position becomes, shall we say, untenable, he will simply retire to his yacht and live like a king for the rest of his life.
