when will it get its next level upgrade?
you talking about when it’s upgraded to go to 80? I haven’t even bothered upgrading my heirlooms to go to 70, hell some only go up to 29. It don’t have the benefit that it used to, so it’s borderline irrelevant now imo.

I would prefer they adjust the existing levels to match the higher level to 80 but I know they won’t. It’s a good gold sink. As far as when probably 11.1 or 11.2 but who knows.
I could be misremembering but doesn’t the PreviousLevelCap-to-CurrentLevelCap upgrade not come out until close to the end of the current expansion?
I haven’t bothered with upgrading mine for a while now - that gold for what you get at this point just doesn’t seem worth it anymore.
Since TWW launch I’ve taken two brand-new toons from 1-80 since getting my “main” 5 to cap for the 25% XP boost. Both dps, both only questing, same leveling xpac, one with and one without heirlooms. The heirloom toon only dinged 80 like 30min faster and had far less of the final zone completed than the non-heirloom toon.

This Idk why you upgrade them anymore. they were kind of nice leveling low level alts in prepatch since gearing drops were messed up. but beyond that i never use them
i enjoy having an item that i don’t have to replace while leveling and it stays basically heroic level(relatively)gear for my toon. less empty slots all at the appropriate level for my leveling alts is 1000000 times more useful to me than bonus xp.
