Cant seem to find the bnet forums, or much less blizzard forums, but anyways.
As of some weeks ago the Desktop BNet launcher has been having random strange things going on, sometimes itll flash on the task bar as if theres a notification, then il check and nothings present/alert like.
other times itll do like what its been doing in that any time i turn my computer on, and sign into windows, once my computer loads up to the main desktop/idle state bnet will prompt me to sign into it. daily. even though im already signed in to it, and the keep login info checkbox is toggled.
why is this? is this a bug? or intended programming?
For context using Bnet Desktop version: 2.25.1.14459 (Beta)
clicking that link takes you to the forum, but when you go to sign into it, it doesnt return you to that forum. it takes you to the US battlenet shop, directly to this: https://us.shop.battle.net/en-us/404
And if i click on Support at the top, or support at the bottom of the page, it just takes me to the same support page that wow support would.
effectively making it impossible to make a forum post there.
I was seeing the same looping when attempting to login via the icon at top. However, I got it to work by clicking on a thread and then hitting REPLY. That did a login that kept me on that Forum.
Did you see an option to Sign Up at bottom of a thread? I also tried it that way. I tested on Firefox and Safari since I was actively signed in here on Chrome on my phone.
The organization of that support forum seems to be messed up. If you log in at the original link I posted, you’ll get some kind of “there’s nothing there” and a redirect to the Blizzard homepage. Not very helpful, sorry for that.
If you log into the top of the Battle.net support forum and log in from there, it works.
You can select the Desktop App Tech Support forum from there and go where my original link was supposed to be able to take you.
