necro warrior burst, why can you get lucky with sudden death too and stick to me thru freedom + cheetah + sac while still chunking for 20k a hit
1m convoke/highrolling and you still die in the .5 sec it took to trinket
warriors being tanky enough to play double dps at 2700
swarm + frenzy still being a fullheal
other hybrids healing enough to heal a warrior at 2700 or feature in a rextroy video
mages are still tanks
chain harvest/ascendance potentially 1shotting + 30-40k instant healing surges on self, isn’t really op imo just annoying
it’s a gimmicky burst meta i know bm is overtuned and needs nerfs but how does anyone get more tilted by it than hybrids healing more than healers and every other meta class potentially globaling you.
it annoys me that i can’t stop other bm’s damage but at least i’m not dead if i react a millisecond too late or get bad rng and i only have to kill them once instead of doing 5 hp bars worth of damage to them
BM is harder to punish. They can hang back by a pillar like a caster while doing insane instant steady pressure like a melee. It is the ONLY spec that can do it and it is mega tilting.
does leaving the pillar or getting connected to count as playing badly because once you’re on a hunter it’s infintely easier to make damage stick than it is versus tanky hybrids mages or arms warrs
how is this more disgusting than literally any other double dps you can queue into rn?
we’re actually on a timer because any damage you do to double bm sticks, galavant just dies within 1-2 minutes rather than being able to drag games out to 50% dampening and matching healer healing as a hybrid comp
queued into revo’s enhance/necro arms at 2k and i find the fact that they can do 50k damage into survival tactics in a global and still force turtle a bit more disgusting
Hunters have always taken damage when they are hit, part of their toolkit is how “slippery” they are. Which again BM has it the easiest. It does all its damage easily from range, why its so much better then surv, and doesn’t have to cast anything unlike MM so its the hardest to stick to while it keeps up its pressure the entire time.
my alt druid’s dps rotation is harder to do, but it is infinitely easier to survive on it than my hunter because i can just go bear and heal 2 lifebars with frenzy hence my disagreement with
being foolproof
nothing to do with it’s damage rotation, that’s for sure
but are we really slippery now with pruning and melee mobility creep? i feel like this argument had alot of credence with snake trap/entrapment/double deter etc but currently i disagree with that, now you have 1 disengage and freedom and have to spec into knock or kindred which you’ll have to drop survival tactics for, compare that with multiple melee in the meta having similar/more baseline mobility in addition to spammables that passively act as a gap closer also. even when i play sv, it’s so much easier to stick to a bm hunter than it is on the other hand to kite a dh/ww/warrior
