You cast Barbedshot and your pets gets up to 3 stacks of a haste buff, but the only way to see the haste buff is to click on your pet.
So do you NEED an addon to make sure your stacks don’t fall off??
You could probably focus target your pet, but realistically you do want an addon.
That said, with any decent amount of haste, you can just mindlessly spam barbed shot now & you should keep it up with a standard talent build.
Settings > Combat > Check “Personal Resource Display”
Now you have a combat bar beneath your character that shows both Frenzy & Thrill stacks.

Get a weak aura addon. Then get the frenzy stacks addon. Super easy to see. Or get 30% haste and it keeps the stacks for you
The weak aura that shows it as well as the window to cast in to keep stacks rolling is the best solution here.

I have historically disliked the PRD but for BM I do think it’s a must if you want to avoid using addons.
It is a strong WA but I feel it saps a lot of the fun from the spec. You end up just staring at this bar. The PRD is just enough information for you to find it useful but not reliant upon.
Pretty much. For the most part, Blizz has no real incentive to improve the base UI because “everyone is already using mods so why should we bother?”
just take savagery and you don’t need to track it anyway lol
