If our pet could blink to our KC target it would help a LOT in fights like Sire and pvp where many targets need to be switched to. It doesn’t need a damage component at all to make it amazing. Just let our pets blink to a target 15-30 yards away when we press KC. Then it would even have a built in 6s cd without KC procs.
Who knows, make it blend in with spirit beasts as something special unfortunately beyond that it has its flaws as a concept in whole no offense but, I think it’d be something dope to consider for sure.
ummm it is baked in… blink strike never crossed gaps before. instead of getting a “blink” animation we get a “charge” animation. It is the same result with different visual.
A mage cannot blink across, you cannot use the night fae flicker to get across.
What? Do you even know what blink strikes is?

This isn’t at all baked into kill command they simply added a charge effect to it but the damage component is gone.
The current charge works better than Blink Strikes did, since sometimes the pet would teleport into the air. Blink Strikes also had an internal cooldown and you couldn’t control it, whereas Kill Command charging allows you to switch targets perfectly. Currently Kill Command has a 50 yard charge and it hits targets 50 yards in the air as well without disrupting the pathing.
This is why I think blink strike should be a thing, the charge of current KC is great and all but it turns our main dps component into a melee only dps class for the most part. Sure we can shoot at adds across gaps but when we have specs on ranged classes that heavily rely on pet dps we need some form of no path available teleport for our pets to work in these raid situations. I don’t see any problem with it from a pve perspective especially if there is no dps component to the blink. In pvp however it would have to either be disabled or have a cd. Which is why I think baking it into KC would help. 6 seconds is a long time in pvp imho.
Edit: warlocks need something similar.
I’m talking about the movement, everyone but you knows it.
You clearly aren’t because if you were you would have known that before pets had to be within 25 yards of the boss the range has since been increased to 40. that is in no way shape or form like blink strikes. they also added a charge like effect to kill command but again its two separate abilities.
but feel free to continue to try to state incorrect information.
I agree. Adding Blink Strike to Kill Command would make BM Hunters once again a ranged spec on the Sire Denathrius fight. As it stands, BM Hunters can’t effectively deal with the adds on the platforms in the second phase as our pets will not path over the gap. If Blizzard intends to use this fight format again in future raids, adding Blink Strike to Kill Command would greatly benefit BM Hunters from being able to perform their role as a Ranged DPS.
