Is it always the most played?
Nah hunters use to be the most played
Thatās what I remembered.
Tyvm
I dont reroll because anyone says anything. I reroll based on what I experienced.
That was not directed at anyone in particular, I didnāt even know you had rerolled. It is just my opinion on the concept of form rerolls in general.
I reroll when Iām struggling, but only to something that seems fun, not to whatās fotm. Mostly because Iāve not had a main in years, since they turned dk into whatever nonsense it is now
That is a bit to my point. You think people reroll because of what they hear players or streamers say, but they could have rerolled based on what they experienced. If I see spec X doing unhealable damage, while having MS, good mobility, never needing to stand still to do 90% of their damage, and it is on the higher end of durability for a DPS, while in 2500+ MMR Blitz matchs, I can decide to play or not play this spec that looks to have some nice pvp qualities, and I assume other players are capable of making the same observations Iāve made many times.
Calling someone a FOTM reroller is not really the insult it is intended by some to be. If players change specs or roles based on what is most easy to succeed on, I would just say they made a smart decision. Similarly I would say, those that I see be very effective on a spec known to at the time be quite difficult to succeed on are doing well in spite of poor tuning or design and that is impressive.
Some, sure i would believe, but when its a mass migration i outright refuse to believe it.
Iām of the belief you should have a main and play to that main, I dont like the follow the meta playstyle, never have and never will. Unfortunately for me theyāve turned what i fell in love with into a shadow of its former self, and i just cant find that same joy with it that i used to, so iām cursed to eternally search for that joy in the least fotm option available at that time.
Works plenty well for me
and iād say thats exactly what is wrong with modern gaming. Hotswapping classes every time something gets stronger is revolting behavior and rampant in gaming, this one and others. It leads to homogenization and worse gameplay over all.
And thats another great point. If you play a class because its fun you learn its ins and outs entirely, if you just reroll every patch, you dont really learn anything, youāre a sheep in the herd
TLDR Metas and Meta Sheep / FOTM bad
Whatever form of pvp you enjoy, if you enjoy it enough, you do it a lot. Someone like me can and has played a spec nearly exclusively through 2.5 expansions. Actual many years on one spec can include times when 2 enemy players press the hunt and you die, or convoke the spirits eliminates swoths of your team in 1 press once per minute. I didnt FOTYear reroll when SL happened, but other players saw the damage meters and their own death recap and knew they might as well reroll. If everyone plays what is too strong, then we are fairly balanced or blizzard can actually attend to balancing concerns.
Hunter is basically the beginners class. Safe with broken range and damage. Plus the idea of having fourty pets attack someone is pretty cool.
Basically bm hunter is a one-button beginner class you can just press auto attack and tab out to your fav Newdie site and zone back in and be high in the damage meter. Not even kidding. Why wouldnt you play a broken class?
Itās a whole lot more than one button, but, the vast majority of buttons that are not utility or CC can be put on a macro(while some CC can be in the macro), then they become one button. Definitely a beginner friendly spec, partially because it is a rotation that is still effective if you do things somewhat out of order, and particularly because it is also tuned favorably.
i doubt bm are gonna be crushing arenasā¦but its a great beginner spec in bgs. lots of them in epics.
