Hey guys, I’m trying to work on my hunter but confused on which pet to use as BM.
I mainly plan on using the hunter for PvP, but PvE tips are appreciated.

It depends on what you want to do. If you need to lust, any ferocity pet will do since they have lust. The clefthoof is a good choice if you’re soloing content. I usually just pick any pets that go with my character’s aesthetics.
If I am not running lust, I run a tenacity pet, usually spirit beast since I like their looks. Tenacity gives you an extra defensive, so that comes in handy.
I know next to nothing about pvp but a cunning pet that has mortal wounds like a rodent, raptor, or hyena is good.

You want to either use a tenacity pet or a cunning pet. You want to farm out the tome for taming undead pets as it makes them immune to fear and sap, but watch out as it makes paladins and priest able to stun them with wake of ashes or shackle undead.
I would suggest using either Direhorn, Hydra, Lizard, or Riverbeast as they are tenacity with Mortal Wounds effect (reduces healing the enemy receives).
As for cunning use a Raptor so that you can have an undead, it makes it a lot easier. Then you want either another raptor, Hyena, Rodent that isn’t undead so that if you fight a priest/paladin you can swap them out so your pet doesn’t get stunned/shackled.
