As a BM hunter how much dps should your pets be doing?
my wife and I find our pets are doing about 48-55% of our damage depending on the fight, we both do Heroic content.

When I spec for BM my pet always does over 50% in total but I read somewhere on this fourm that your pet should not be doing this much of your total damage and I do see some BM hunters in LFR where their pet do like 20 to 30% of their damage and they seem to beat me in damage so I thought I was doing something wrong.
It depends on your stats, talents and legendary. In my experience, when I had massive amounts of Mastery (because SL is full of Mastery gear), my pet was doing 50-55% of total damage. Once I got my stats under control and more evenly balanced Mastery with Crit and Haste, it dropped to about 35% of overall damage.
