Is blizzard aware that BM gains basically no damage from Aug, to the point that its a hindrance to group these 2 specs together.

Log hooks do not work properly for Augmentation Evokers’ interactions with pet based classes. The damage boosts do happen, they just don’t get allocated back to the Evoker.

This is not really correct anymore, and even if it were, it would mean that BM hunters were seeing a lopsidedly GREATER benefit from Aug, not less.
Before the nerf, my 418 aug boosted my guildies Bm hunter by liek 40k dps and had her peaking at 280k single target, on par with our fire mage with aug buffs.
So i dont knw what you are talking about.

- The Advanced Combat Log now more accurately attributes support events for Pet/Guardian/Summons damage, accumulator, delayed damage effects (e.g. Execution Sentence, Ignite), and damage against armored targets.

And again, even if they hadn’t fixed it, youur comment would have been incorrect because that issue resulted in BM hunters getting more DPS in logs, not less.
Played my aug some today in bgs. Still feels just as tanky and supporty but now im hitting 100k eruptions too. Even hada 320k (ish) Upheaveal.
Havnt played it in arena or rss but i dont see a bunch of people complaining any more. So im guessing its no longer immortal in the smaller arenas.
The overall dps number didn’t matter when looking into logs to determine how much augmentation impacted a spec. You simply mouse over the dps section and it shows how much was gained from augmentation, which was a lopsidedly lesser benefit for bm due to some things not being attributed properly.
I was simply saying that the hook issue benefited BM where the tone of the post was saying that it hurt them, which is not true.
The tone of the post is saying bm wasn’t benefitting from aug, which the logs were incorrectly showing.
