BM changes for pve?

About the only thing I wouldn’t change is the Aspect of the Wild talent I like the 10% crit bonus. The focus is OK I guess, I would personally prefer 5% haste bonus overall

I think the biggest detractor is Animal Companion It messes with lots of things

Everything else is looking excellent as per Gorak’s recommendations.

Maybe a start towards being able to use the option of Dire Beast and Murder of Crows at least the AC talent wouldn’t burn those talents for 35% damage reduction like now.

Actually a good point, the 10 second CD makes it feel less execute and just “here is a button when boss is close”

Maybe make it 7 to not copy a warrior and really increase the tempo of the hunter? idk I know it’s a small thing in comparison of the wealth of suggestions you put forth, however it feels like the worst execute in the game?

They just made it a little better for Venthyr pve which also is gonna make Venthyr PvP even more disgusting, I can’t wait. Pls pls keep underperforming in pve so I can keep getting buffed. Thank you

Check the latest 9.1.5 patch notes. Flayed shot is getting an initial hit of damage and basically an extra chance to proc off this initial hit with a higher chance of a proc

The primary reason as to why I’m suggesting that AotW should be completely removed is because I find it to be sub-par in many ways. It’s a major CD but the only thing it does is giving us some additional crit and Focus. It’s not nothing ofc, but if you ask me, I would much prefer to have something like what I suggested with Stampede being an optional bonus to a major CD for us.

You mean with how I’m suggesting that it shouldn’t be a talent, and that it shouldn’t be about damage, but strictly a cosmetic thing?

This is part of the reason as to why I don’t want to keep AC as a talent. Ofc they could maybe fix how the deficit aura applies to hints, although I’d argue making AC into a cosmetic option is still the best thing to do.

For one, there would be less confusion about whether certain talents are working as intended or not.

Honestly…I’m generally not very fond of execute-style abilities. Because of PvP they can’t really make them very powerful, and in PvE it’s just another ability to press on CD.

Granted I don’t do PvP so…might be why I dislike them.

I enjoy the current bm spec. It isn’t sweaty and I can relax and talk about random things with friends.

I hope they keep it at the casual level or if it had a rating (beginner) spec. Cause it’s hard to screw it up. And very simple to master. Pressing barbed at 1second instead of kill command or cobra is the amount of thought process I give this spec and only when I want to.

I want barbed shot’s bleed to roll over like firemage ignite or shadowpriest devouring plague. That or we can have each bs be its own bleed/dot like warlock’s legion/bfa unstabbed affliction. Our opener requires us to dump 2 bs back to back and another following bw. All that bleed damage is wasted and it feels bad. This increases our st slightly w/o doing too much crazy changes.

Also please increase the effectiveness of mastery. Either make it affect the pet more or let it also affect the hunter. Presently it’s my worst stat simwise because I outdps my pet by a lot(65/35 ratio for guardian of the first ones). I would want stats that benefit me or both me and the pet. Mastery only benefiting the pet when its the weakest portion of our overall damage is a meh.

Speaking about stuff that effects Pet DPS… are Shards Now boosting/modifying pet damage ? Have seen nothing on paper to say Yay or Nay.
