Hey. I’m using a similar-enough version of the Icy Veins recommended build for BM (by accident) atm. Is it known if going for Bloody Frenzy/Wild Instincts is a better call than Dire Beast/Pack so far? At least as BM, I like my pet-focused builds.
Wild Instincts/Blood Frenzy requires choosing Call of the Wild, which is currently bugged in multiple ways and undertuned. That path should be avoided like the plague until they fix it.
Dire Beast build is also potentially buggy. Some people have a great experience with it, while others get Dire Beasts that instantly despawn or just stand still and not attack. It’s very much a YMMV path, but still leaps and bounds better than the Call of the Wild path.

So far, I’m doing good with the Dire Beast build, as much as I don’t like actually using DB’s due to their very limited use past a summon and only 5% Haste.
They buffed Dire Beasts by a lot. On paper, the Dire Beast build is easily the highest DPS in single target fights, but it’s so hit or miss on the pet AI and bugginess, it’s not reliable for everyone.

Not to mention the Pet Families being much weaker and less varied than their more original counterparts.
