BM 2pc issue

Completed my beastmaster 2pc (pvp) via the vault today. Also completed my feral 2pc (pvp) today. The 10% increase on kill command deffinately isn’t represented on the tooltip; the damage is so close that the increase in ilvl is being almost perfectly offset by the loss in versatility… but the listed damage is only 150 points change, on a 22k ability. Details while smacking the pvp dummy for a few minutes is saying yeah, there’s almost no difference. I am seeing some barbed shot refreshes, though it’s closer to 1 in 30.

The feral 2pc is however showing up on the tooltip.

Can anyone else test this out reliably? I know the knee jerk response to this will be that my data pool is lackluster.

Am using two pets if that makes a difference, though I’m about to check that now.

edit. So to follow up after a minute of testing, yeah, one pet works, two pets nope. Wish that was reflected on the tooltip.

edit. And it’s back to not working with one pet. I give up. Maybe they changed the meaning of 10% since I’ve been to school.

Nah i noticed basically zero difference. Hoping to notice it on the 4 piece but not holding my breath

Just tested this myself and the 2pc definitely seems to be adding to Kill Command - for me at least. Tested with just Barbed Shot > Cobra Shot > Kill Command rotation to remove any variables.

  • With Tier: 10,412 - 23,968
  • Without Tier: 9,554 - 21,994

However, after two five minute parses testing this, I did not see any Barbed Shot procs that weren’t triggered by Wild Call. So, either the 2pc triggers Barbed Shot procs through Wild Call or I just experience terrible RNG on a 10% proc chance over 10 minutes of parsing.

Wild Call is kind of a joke, though. If you have 30% crit that’s a 30% chance to grant a 20% chance every 3s to refresh Barbed. A chance at a chance isn’t a very well thought out talent, IMO.

I do notice it a lot more with 2pc, though. Lots of procs frenzy almost never drops unless it’s between pulls. Got my 3rd piece already but I’m holding off equipping until 4pc due to stats on shoulders for Normal removes too much haste. 4pc will make up for it and then some - at least that’s what sims tell me but sims are just that.
