Likely because bnet is down for maintenance? My guess is it’ll clear up in a while. If it doesn’t after patch time try reinstalling the launcher. Seemed to work sporadically when others noted this.

even did
Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
sfc /scannow

in an admin powershell to be certain.

everything reported no errors

then did

cleanmgr /sagerun:1

For those that don’t know what this is, it’s a built-in Windows clean up manager.
in an admin powershell run

cleanmgr /sageset:1

this opens a small UI. Check all the boxes for the things you want cleaned up.
then run

cleanmgr /sagerun:1

to run cleanup manager preset 1 you just made

then I trimmed on all my drives

ran Windows update

so yea, gotta be the update servers.

everything works here, except for WoW update

I got the “BLZBNTAGT000008A4” error (we’re having a problem transferring data). Restarted the computer, restarted bnet, scanned for error, and when update option appears…same issue happens. Internet working fine, as this post is made from the same computer.

This is happening right now and I believe the server maintenance is over already.
