So I got “into” beta for classic, I think?! I reloaded Blizzard and it had the option of choosing Classic, so I did and I downloaded the game to 100%. Upon entering, I got that error message which meant “No servers available”. Any else have this issue? Also I tried again 5 hours later and it is the same message.

I’m am getting the same thing as you are, same exact situation.
If no servers are showing up for you or if you are getting that error, means you wasn’t invited to the beta. The stress test is already finished. If you was in the Beta, you would have an option in the Development section of the pull down saying Beta Classic.

That isn’t the beta, that was just the stress test, which is now over.

The Stress Test closed about 8 hours ago. That client is the Live client that we used for the Stress Test.
You didn’t get into Beta. You’re just like the rest of us.
I am thinking they just added that option to everybody’s Bnet when they did the Bnet upgrade. Sad to see it sitting there taunting me!

From what I understand, you won’t have to download anything when Classic goes live (except for any updates). Kind of a good thing.

“No servers available” that is the most vague message i have ever seen on wow When so many others are still playing. Give an actual message “We apologize stress test is over. Beta testing has begun for those select few that were invited” just explain it do not be lazy.

Yeah same here i find it like some kind of mean joke. Especially considering ive had the game since classic. And im seeing all these people that haven’t even played classic before or even care too. Watching all these celebrity streamers with beta keys that play it for a day now they’re playing other games instead. It’s like a slap in the face. It’s gonna take everything in me to want to sub into classic now. Such a good way to mess with people.

There are many people who live under rocks. People who live under rocks can easily be caught off guard by recent events/changes.
You’re not alone, so that’s good. Plenty of people on the wrong side of the bell curve, about half of them if my math is correct.

The same thing is happening for me, it must be a mistake because I was in the beta for 48 hours and then BOOM, no servers available.

No it wasn’t the level 5 stress test, I was actually in the beta… i played for 2 whole days and then it stopped working.
