I got that error, I’ve cleared cache on both bnet launcher and the game itself, it lingers on connecting and disconnects before I get to the character selection screen. Anyone else encountering this?

facing the same issue, tried restart computer, router, clear cache. Doing Scan and repair now.

Same here in canada, i thought i was the only one omg. 
i think the whole america server is down because the europe one is fine to log into…
nope, I am on OC/US server. My friends are able to log in and log out like normal. Seems to affect only certain players.

Same thing here for over an hour now, have checked all my network devices, renewed my IP, flushed DNS, a tracert is able to reach both of the IP’s for WoW US servers. The EU WoW still works fine too.
Same , on East Coast US and cant even get past the launcher now

Yeah my best mates having the same problem.
Having this issue on one of my accounts. One logs in just fine, the other spits out the error code. I tried this on two computers on the same network.
Been having this problem consistently since I tried to log in about an hour ago (US acccount with characters on Oceanic servers). Glad to see it’s not just me. Mildly dismayed to see there is no official acknowledgement of it yet, let alone a proposed solution.

Been about an hour for me with this issue. Haven’t seen any official statements about any issues yet either.
My husband is sitting right next to me and he can log in fine 
I’ve tried all the usual fixes, but like everyone else, nothing helps.
Can’t connect to Classic either.
Yep same issue here, put in a ticket about 2 hours ago but ETA of 24 hours before it gets checked. Hope we get a response here sooner than that!
also having these issues , its frustrating that some can play and others cant , hope this fixed soon , this has been going on over an hour , reset computer , router , cleared cache ect, thought i was going crazy
