Just resubscribed, and I’m getting this error every time I launch retail or classic from Battlenet. I tried running retail on my laptop and can get to the character screen, so it must be something with my desktop. I’ve updated my video card drivers, restarted my modem and router, made sure the ports were open on my firewall, changed the Interface, Cache, and WTF folder names, reinstalled the game, and tried the repair tool. I’m out of ideas.

I would also recommend Create a new Windows admin account to see if the same thing happens on the new Admin account. This will rule out any Windows specific setting issues as all Windows specific settings will be defaulted.

If you still have trouble, please collect a DXDIAG and post it here using the Preformatted Text button in the posting options. Just make sure the full DXDIAG contents are between the Preformatted Text tags.
