Blurry textures at distance

I know I know, ‘‘have you tried activating antialiasing?’’

I’ve tested with all my settings at max, all sort of anti aliasing options, I even tried setting the resolution scale to 200% (it fixed it a little bit but game was still incredibly blurry).

None of my settings seemed to be doing anything to change that, noticed it while I was doing a Halls of Atonement

It could be the smokey fog rendering at a lower resolution. There’s a similar issue like this in COD Warzone where you have to set the particle quality to high or else everything gets pixelated in the distance.

Maybe try setting the depth and compute effects to high and see if the issue persists. You might also need to verify that you’re on the latest GPU drivers as well.

Antialiasing won’t do squat to that, nor should it be expected to. Those are oversized texels, either caused by low resolution textures or low resolution samples. Similar distortion is also visible on the tree branches to the left which you haven’t marked.

In this case, they’re being caused by low resolution samples. Specifically caused by the Compute Effects setting. Low looks basically the same as what you’re seeing, and each step up improves things. If the performance loss from increasing that setting is too high then you can also greatly improve the look by disabling them, though that naturally takes away some of the “pretties” the setting also provides.
