So for those of us who didn’t know about the drop on the day it was available, will there be another chance to get it? Will the guy ever respawn to let us into the alternate Mechagon? We are missing tons of rep every day.

It will come back eventually, but there are a lot of daily quest givers to cycle through. I’m not sure if the daily quest givers are on a determined cycle or if they are randomized every day.
I have done everything since day 1 in both zones. I just didn’t go to wowhead and see that this was something that was a random drop. I killed everything for every quest in the alternate zone. Just disappointed that the guy in Mechagon hasn’t appeared again so others can take advantage of several dailies there.
And in the meantime… no daily quests there for many people.

This is really bad design! If they wanted to lock dailies behind this future time crap they should have made the blueprint a guaranteed drop while doing the quests there.
Now a whole bunch of people who had no clue about this blueprint and the dailies there are falling further and further behind each day!

It really is getting old. Daily quests can’t be locked behind something that was not a guaranteed drop, especially when it was not even known that without it, you couldn’t even get back into the alternate Mechagon. That should have been one of the quests for that zone. Guess we’re locked out of those quests.

Yea the time displacer definitely should’ve been a reward from the quest to go there or implied it could be acquired from farming normal mobs. Locking daily behind it feels bad.

Or implied that it would be REQUIRED to go back into that alternate zone.

If your in a group an someone in your group use theirs?
You all act like its a ton of extra quests. In fact it’s:
- Collect parts, turn in to gnome = +150 rep
- Accompany gnome to kill mechagnome = +75 rep
- Kill bad version of gnome, get Vaultbot quest (no rep)
- Loot Vaultbot the proper way = +75 rep
In grand total, +300 daily rep you aren’t getting. Not going to leave you behind everyone else unlocking Pathfinder.

It’s like they expect you to sit and read every guide possible before starting a new piece of content. And make sure to memorize every detail! Otherwise, no extra dailies for you!

It’s three dailies, two (150 & 75) rep quests available as a small chain off a quest giver and one 75 rep quest you have to have the Armored Vaultbot Key to complete.
I mean, yeah players who went out and grabbed the blueprint can do these quests and are being rewarded for it. But it’s not exactly game breaking.
Now you have something to go out and do when Chromie shows up again.
You have a goal. Goals feel good to achieve.

What/who the heck are you racing here?
I mean… Slootbag and other dedicated players in recent days smoked us all getting both reps to Revered in Week 1. We are all behind the people at the head of the pack. It’s not an issue if Slootbag is 6k rep ahead of me because of being a rep farming fiend.
It certainly shouldn’t be an issue if someone else is 300 rep ahead of me for whatever other reason.

I guess, but it’s been like 6 days, or 7 I can’t remember when Chromie was up. So max 2.1k faction … my point was that it’s not like it’s been weeks without another Chromie sighting, and those of us with the blueprint are raking in 10’s of thousands more rep than those of you without.

You are fairly dense, eh? It’s not a matter of racing someone or finishing first or w/e. It’s the fact that the dailies can’t be done. you know, content that the devs spent time making.
They should have made it clear that there was a blueprint that was needed before leaving. It’s not hard!

BTW 300 rep a day over a week is 2100 rep before bonuses, maybe check that math of yours.
