If you call this spam, then good job at contributing to it. You know you don’t have to click on the thread, or let alone reply to it. There is a thingy at the bottom of the thread where it allows you to mute the entire thread, so you wouldn’t have to ever see it in the future.

I for one, even as an anti, is happy horde elves are not getting blue eyes.
Unless they kill off all the remaining elves on the alliance, have them all return to silvermoon or turn them all void, horde elves should not get blue eyes.
They should have lore wise (sunwell gold eyes) but they should not get it to avoid confusion. Talking to a blue eyes elf neutral npc in a joint quest hub. (Are you a horde elf or an alliance elf?)

I’m still going to ask for more explanation. Ion contradicted things he’s said about Blood elves, so either he misspoke, they have retconned something or they haven’t given us all the information we need to understand.

As someone that really doesn’t care if BE’s get blue eyes cause choices, it really does bother me that you dismiss the context of WHY blood elves have predominantly green eyes.
“They should get blue eyes because they are high elves” is just facepalm worthy, because you are completely disregarding the distinct contexts that lead to one group having predominantly blue eyes and the other green ones.
Blood Elves don’t “deserve” blue eyes, just as the alliance doesn’t “deserve” to have high elves. It would be nice things to have, but to frame it as intrinsic is just flawed to the core. They aren’t.
That’s just not a healthy mindset yo.

Yup, that is ultimately the true reason. The Blue eyes are part of the visual language of the game.
It’s just a design choice really, just like not making HE playable. Both things can be easily explained by lore, it just doesn’t follow the aesthetic they want
