I think you’re focusing on this number a bit much. They’re not going to just hold to a specific number as they continue to work on it. They’re talking about what they have added at the point in time they spoke. Because they can promise that much.

And I think you’re holding to expecting Blue Eyes too much, when imo they don’t make sense given how they have shown Holy to act.
They should have added it with Golden Eyes.
I also see Red eyes taking customization slots for the Undead Dark Ranger looks.
horde doesnt ask for impossible things. imagine if you guys campaigned for the half elves nobody cared about instead of a carbon copy of a horde race

I don’t have a problem with blue eyes specifically.
I do think players are getting too entitled.
But they aren’t Blizzard specifically worked on Holy first, hinting at more holy options, teasing Undead Skin tones possibly, but Blue Eyes… 
entitlement is thinking they are saving a damn eye color for a couple irrelevant npcs

Sin’dorei will be known as the eye masters! With all the different color eyes, to funny. But Seriouisly any eye colors after the complete change takes affect then all High elves would have the same colors right even those in the Alliance.

Blizzard wanted to try something new. It didn’t go as well as they wanted. Now they’re separating eyes and increasing customization options. For all races. One of their major focus’ is on eyes specifically.
Just seems odd for folk to jump through hoops to deny the Blood Elves their blue eyes.
There’s no real reason for Blizz to give them red eyes or Dark Ranger customization’s, it doesn’t fit in the Lore for Dark Rangers.
Even purple eyes are contentious at best.
Green, Gold, and Blue are the only ones we can say with certainty. I personally think its silly to think we wont get them.
I totally agree. High Elves should show blue, gold and whatever else the Blood Elves get. (Only thing I would say High Elves shouldn’t or probably wouldn’t have is green…)

Pretty sure we are getting these, and as Sylvanas loyalists are shown all over Orgrimmar, it would just be supported by Sylvanas raising some loyal BE’s.
But if you are advocating for less customization, that is your right. I do not think Blue Eyes given the history of what I have seen of Holy in game make sense.
I’m actually advocating for more customization. We just disagree on what is getting added.
