But we are left to assume one can be dominant given the fact they have a ongoing narrative setting up Holy magic a certain way.
And I can see this argument but I still feel like the precedent supporting Holy Magic being more invasive in terms of influencing people is now set.
They say Blood Elves have 40 customizations coming?
We could get undead skins for the dark ranger look, 10 female, 10 male, thats 20 right there.
Jewelry lets say 5 and 5 for each, thats another 10 now were at 30.
Currently male only has 3 golden eye options for faces, I’m assuming female is the same? Lets say 5 and 5 each thats all 40 customizations right there.
I don’t think Blue eyed BE’s are a work in progress I think Holy has been set up as a sort of weed, and they set the precedent with how they introduced Holy by itself with no blue eyes showing that arcane is as much of a force influencing people as anything else.
If anything I feel like holy and arcane are equal to tap into, but as far as actively influence its users Holy is like an entity with an agenda.
Right, like when Tirion did a tiny prayer to the light and straight up shattered Frostmourne in one-hit at the peak of the biggest source of Unholy magic in Northerned.
Absolutely, if the people who have been asking for it for ever can’t have, then why should the people that don’t need it have it? it’s extremely dismissive and rude to ignore not only requests but complains of thousands of players who have been asking for high elves since the beggining and just give them to the horde because “lore”.
If you want further explanation on my point, I’d like to refer you to my first answer:
Lore wise, it is possible for them to have blue eyes once again, however, I still think it would be extremely petty coming from Blizzard to give the Blood Elves blue eyes. They know how much alliance players want high elves, it’s been discussed for ever, and even if they gave the Blood elves blue eyes, it would still be leaving high elves out of the picture since they would be Sin’'dorei whose eye colour just changed eventually because of the manipulation of the arcane magic present in the Sunwell.
I still think they are going to say f* it and give it to them so they can drink pro helfers tears, like they always have
Right now we are told basically that the powers are in balance, and that in lore, those that get the golden eyes are the ones who immerse themselves in the power of the light such as priests and paladins.
And Crusader Bridenbrad? You know, who all that could be done for was to shepherd his soul into the light after he died. Tirion just was able to break an artifact, not cleanse Arthas of undeath.
Do you notice my Holy Golden eyes? I was a mere scholarly type studying to be a Priest, when I took up my true passion of a being a Warlock in the service of the Dark Lady!
My eyes remain however… Golden and pure as my intentions
