Blue Dragonscales only drop off a raid boss and a rare?
Seriously? Is this a glitch or did Blizzard purposely screw low level professions/transmogs?

If I remember correctly there used to be blue dragonkin in Azshara & Winterspring that you could skin for blue dragonscales. But the ones in Azshara went away so they could turn that into a low level Horde zone in Cataclysm. I’ve no idea why they got rid of the ones in Winterspring.
There were also green, red, and black dragonkin in various other places. I remember spending hours in Burning Steppes farming for black dragonscale for the Black Dragonscale set, that’s what I was doing when I dinged 60 for the first time.
But yeah, the dragonscale armor pieces are a lot tougher to do now, especially the blue & red. It’s not a glitch.

Used to have 3 LW specializations: elemental, dragonscale, and tribal. At least 2 for BS, armorsmith, weaponsmith, and possibly a 3rd, I forget.
Older content keeps getting messed up. Used to be able to get felcloth from felwood.
Yea, dragonscales are kind of a pain now. I used to farm UBRS for black ones, and I recently remade the black dragonscale set for transmog (wanted to build a set of what I used in vanilla) and I ended up running through Blackwing lair over a couple weeks because doing in outdoor zones was impractical.
I was also upset that Black Grasp of the Destroyer recipe was also removed.
