In-Character Mission
To be Forsaken is to be abandoned and deserted, ostracized simply for falling victim to the Scourge’s attack upon our civilization.
The world is a dangerous place for one who is alone. The Scourge remains a constant presence in the Northeast. To the South, the Alliance has rebuked us and shunned us as monsters. In our very own lands, the Scarlet Crusade harries us as no different from the Scourge we broke free from. Even our own allies regard us with little more than suspicion.
Let us undertake this journey together. We must learn to navigate this brutal world and find our place within it, without becoming the monsters our persecutors see us as. Our mission is simple:
To help guide our brethren as they adjust to undeath.
To create a new identity for our people, separate from the Scourge.
To secure our lands from the Scourge, Scarlet Crusade, and Alliance (if need be) in order to establish a home for ourselves.
Out-of-Character Goals
<The Desolate Society> is a heavy undead RP guild which focuses upon the narrative of Forsaken struggles, both internal and external - from launching militant campaigns against the Scarlet Crusade to exploring the morality of apothecary experimentation, and everything in between.
We plan to have an equal share of social and event-based RP, focused on the Forsaken story experience and lore as of the Classic era of WoW. We’re a community-centric guild, meaning our members come first, not the selfish or grand machinations of guild leadership. We strive to provide an environment where those of any RP experience level can thrive and learn from others, where encouragement and opportunity to share your story and ideas mean as much as any guild storyline.
We also plan on also engaging in casual PvP and PvE. We would love to form partnerships with other guilds in order to make serious progression a reality for our members who are interested in those things!
