Bloodmoon is now faction based, rather than FFA?

On Lava Lash, the bloodmoon event went live after server up, and … it’s not FFA. It’s merely based on faction.

I’m thinking this wasn’t intended? It would have a huge impact on unbalanced servers.

Do you guys test your code? Is there a “QA” column on your JIRA boards? Or do you just “do it live” and upload your builds directly from developer workstations into the cloud?

Mockery is also an option.

Lord, I hope this is true… BM FFA is a Cluster F.

If this is true…oh man Horde are gonna be pissed when there is no one to fight against in STV lol since most Alliance who PvP have already gone Horde.

There was no bonus blood near the loa either… AND the BB guards attack you

I think it’s a bug. If not, it’s a really horrible change imo, lol! I actually really like Bloodmoon, but not this way at all.

That would defeat the whole point of bloodmoon, I hope this isn’t real

that is a welcome improvement.

I don’t think this was intended. I put a bug report up for it in their bug forum.

We were jumping into the arena just so we could PvP each other again. I don’t think we were getting any bonus for being close to the LOA either.

Sounds like it is probably bugged. If it is intended, I am probably never doing the event again on wild growth horde. That sounds like a not fun time.

No cap, that could be an interesting twist on the event. Imagine if blood moon was every 2 hours instead of every 3, and alternated between faction PvP and FFA. Could be novel.

I’m hoping that this is intended. The thought of doing more BM at 50 as it was, was not something I was looking forward to.

BM is 100% intended to be an event in phase 3. You will do BM at 50.

It really underscores how few resources Blizzard has assigned to SOD when a major event is bugged, and there isn’t even a “we’re looking into it” post.
